SMKA End of Season Party & Awards

The South Midlands Korfball Association will be holding its first ever End of Season Party & Awards Evening on Saturday 15th May at the Bull Inn, Stony Stratford.

All players from all clubs are invited. There will be a few awards, some drinking and lots of fun.

3rd MK Companies' Tournament Announced

This year's companies' tournament is again raising funds for the Milton Keynes Community Foundation's Heart Appeal. Every £1 raised will be matched by the Government. The Foundation then provides grant funding to a diverse number of excellent causes in the City.

This year we are opening up the event to community groups and to parish council's. More people, more fun, more vital money for a great cause.

The venue is again Loughton Sports & Social Club. Matches will run from 6pm to 8.30pm. There will be a short introductory session at 5.30pm.

MKC Socials

Korfball is Milton Keynes most sociable sport. Playing korfball is great - but we also go out every month - sometimes twice a month and sometimes more.

We have the following social events coming up:

26th February from 7.00pm - Race Night at Newton Longueville Hall - cost £5

12th March from 7.00pm - Quiz at Tattenhoe Pavilion raising funds for the club - bring everyone you know - cost £3

April - KorfBALL - tuxedos and party dresses. 400+ korfers in Kent for the shindig of the year.

May - end of season awards, dance, drink and retell the one and only goal you scored all season

August - Korfball Camp - deep in the New Forest under canvass with korfers!!! A bit of coaching each morning and then beach, bbq and party all afternoon and evening. Cost around £15 per day and we will probably go Wednesday to Saturday.
