MK City - End of Season Appearance and Goal Chart for OKA

We are the Champions!

MK City won our first league title on 11th April 2010, finishing the Oxfordshire Korfball Association Division 2 with a records of 11 Wins, 3 Draws and 1 Loss. In the process we scored a lot of goals and used 22 different players from our family of clubs (MK City is the lead club and we all have one committee but we train on different nights - for OKA we are all City).

Read the attached article for a list of the players and the goals they scored. There is also a bit of analysis too. You are welcome to use your calculator to check through them.

Congratulations to all that put on the City shirt this season. A huge thank you to our awesome leader, Captain Green. She would have been top of the goal scoring charts if she had taken the penalities!

And thank you to the OKA for allowing to play and develop in their league. And thank you to all our opponents for pushing us and playing in such good spirit.

A full season report from the mind of Emma and possibly another from coach Darren will follow in the next few weeks.
